Getting the info below on the wired part of our network, am sure it used to show the impedence value and confirmed 1 burden was required.

Any ideas why it doesn't any more?

    Thanks

Can't say for sure if its the same for you, but I saw exactly the same a couple of weeks ago when I added an extra device to my network, which pushed the current supply over the edge. As soon as I removed the device, impedence was shown correctly.

Make sure that your supply current is shown accurately. In my case, toolkit assumed that my two 12ch relays were power supply units, when in actual fact they weren't. So toolkit was reporting current supply of 1000mA when my network actually has only 600mA.

You current supply is showing 400mA, which is more than likely made up of two relay and/or dimmer units, each with a 200mA supply. If you actually have only one unit with a power supply of 200mA, it is quite likely that it can still power your network even though it is calculated as requiring 244mA. But it may be unreliable.

Mine runs fine with devices calculated at just over 700mA with only 600mA supply. But adding that one extra device pushed it over the edge.

Did that all make sense? It's late in the afternoon and I'm not sure my brain is talking properly to my fingers..

It may be that you've got the C-Bus Cable (XC100B or XC305B) listed as items in your database. This can mistakenly make the impedance calculate as zero. This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future version of Toolkit.

There is a known bug with impedance calculations I'm afraid (#17053) - it will be fixed in the next major release.

I believe the following units might cause the total impedance to revert to zero:

    Cable (100m and 305m)
Some of the North America Decorator style I/O units, catalog SLC58xxxxxUM, unittype WRDxRx
Wireless Gateway, Wireless Remote Control units

Do you have any of these in your project?

    Thanks guys.

Wireless gateway is the most likely one in this case then since we recently expanded out the system with a gateway and set of wireless switches at roughly the same time as the info disappeared.

Power calculation is correct for the 2 dimmer units we have with PSUs, i manually set the model info on other units that were reporting as having PSUs in them but don't a while back after reading your thread at the time froop so all good on that front.

All good, I won't worry about it in that case and hang off for future versions.

    Cheers,

    Al
