    NO!!!

A PC is needed for setup / commissioning, and you can use it to run HomeGate of SchedulePLus if you want to.

But a cbus system runs jsut fine with no PC connected after you have set it up.

Suggest you get on a training course.

    hi ashleigh,
Thanks for the info, coz im facing some problems here, my cbus system ( 2 networks > 100 units )was fine after setup everything, but the problems arised after power break down and when the power come back , some units of the settings like neo switch mess up.and i always have to restore the database to those units that messed up. so i ever call a guy who work in Clipsal ( Australia ) whether is there any solution for this, and he said i should get a pc connected. So i wonder and thats why i make a post to get comfirmation.

It sounds like you might have some other kind of problem. You should not have settings being lost, and you should not need a PC connected.

Check the usual suspects - EVERY cable join, EVERY connection to a product, only ONE burden per network (check this very carefully), and no more than 2 clock generators per network.

    hi

    hello

I too have a site which has more than 140 units per floors...each floor i have two networks...there i have atleast 2 network burden and 3-5 clocks per network..everything working fine...but now i face few problem lights in one room gets off automatically..there is no timer or sensor...again i have to switch on the lights from key input...this happens evry 15- 45 mins...i checked the program...there is no repetition of group address...

This problem is there in my office alsoo...only 15-20 units in my office..only one network...same problem...

@Smartcbus - Disable Learn Mode and see if that fixes things.

@Godwin - Use the Diagnostic Utility to find out which device is turning your lights off.
