Not all Dali lights turn on every time with cbus but do with dali programmer

wondering if someone can help me. We have a cbus bus Dali gateway and Dalicontrol with an EDLT and Dali LED lights.
The lights work fine everytime with DCBM wizard plugged directly into the Dalicontrol .
When i press a button on EDLT only some of the lights come on, I then press it again and the other lights come on.
Each time its different lights that come on
could this be a fault with the c-bus dali gateway as they work fine with a dali switch.
ps. have tried both line A and B

Couple questions..

How have you got the EDLT controlling the Dali.. ie via scene blasting multiple groups out or via multiple groups or by a single group doing a broadcast or group control on the dali line?

 

By scene on edlt with multiple groups

Have tried a broadcast as well from edlt and not all lights coming on
When broadcast from DCBM all lights come on

 

Hey Daz,

I’ve encountered this exact fault a year ago exactly as you described it. This came down to the ballasts being Dali -compatible not Dali compliant. There are some manufactures making drivers that’s not to spec. If the driver does not have the Dali logo stamped on the driver contact your lighting supplier.

Also suggest using the RAPIX unid device by diginet as it can detect non compliant Dali devices.
