    Hi

I have just bought a house that has a cbus system. The previous owner didn't really know much about it...

The panel on the wall works but is temperamental. Apparently they stopped making this type in 2019.

    Scenes and schedules are disabled.
It does seem to turn off lights etc for identified rooms.

Aircons seem to trip a bit, then you have to go to garage and flick the reset button.

    I have lots of questions...

how do i replace the panel on the wall ?
The lights are downlights/ dimmable but halogen. Can I easily change this to led? And will they automatically work or need programming ?

Is this system expensive to run / consume lots of electric ?

    I'm in australia/ NT .

any help would be great !

    james

All the wall panels work and turns off / on lights, ac , fans etc.

Welcome to the forum James. Would recommend you talk to a sparky that is proficient in C-Bus local to you regarding replacing the panel (I assume it's a touchscreen) and the downlights.

Would also get a fridgie to have a look at your aircons as I doubt that is C-Bus related.

C-Bus uses a little juice to keep it running, but certainly not expensive to run.
