    1. Installer have sent us PACA. He was updating firmware, PACA hung on 10% and stopped. Now nothing works, including LED lights on PAC (being detected in USB as COM port, but no action in PICED or Toolkit may be performed).

Is there any chance to get it back to life?
Is it a matter of warranty?

    ----------------
    2. Another firmware issue found in new software (from FEB 15). A new PACA. In latest PICED 4.8.0 after new 3.50 firmware upload I receive message:

    Unit Firmware version is 3.50.0
This configuration version is for 3.49.170 to 3.49.179

And there is nothing more I can do in this version. What do I do?

    Thank you!

I installed PICED 4.8.0 on Monday and in the process updated my PAC firmware to 3.50.0. Today when I tried updating my logic I got the same error.

It looks like we have had a visit from Mr. Cockup.

We will get this fixed ASAP. In the meantime, PICED will be fine for use with Colour C-Touch and Wiser, but not PAC or C-Touch.

I don't have access to PICED at the moment, but I expect that this will affect:
    - Black and White C-Touch
    - Black and White C-Touch Mark 2
    - C-Touch Spectrum
    - PAC

    Rollback

Understand your current situation so not much chance of it being fixed today and as need tomorrow to load B/W Touchs will rollback Piced.

Next question - do I have to rollback Toolkit to keep C-gate in sync - expect the answer is yes.
And will prior version read the new format ctd files ??

Rather than roll-back versions of PICED (& everything else), you could just "go with the flow" and download the firmware each time you do a project transfer.

I have Matt on the case. Hopefully we can get this sorted pretty quickly.

In the meantime, there is actually a very simple work-around as Newman has said. All you need to do is to transfer the firmware with the project each time. It will add 30 seconds to the transfer, but at least you can keep going.

The answer is "yes", but I sould suggest using the above work-around.
    It will.

    Tks men
I transfer the firmware anyway as Piced comes up with a message saying the firmware not up to date.

    Onwards
