If i connect the PAC just to the a small portion of the network consisting of PCI and Dimmer unit its ok - recognised to toolkit etc. etc.

If i connect it to the whole of my working network - the CBus LED's goes off on all units, and nothing....

I dont want to breakdown the rest of the network - but i need to know what on a working existing installation would cause the PAC to stop it working.

    Equipment connected at present

    Saturn
    CTouch BW
    PIR
    Photocell
    E2000
    Neo
    Scenemaster
    Bus coupler

If there's something incompatible with PAC here, would someone let me know

    Thanks

    Dean.

Sounds like the PAC might be straw the broke the camels back as far as power goes. What is powering this network.

Disconnect the PAC and then scan the (alive) network with Toolkit

Once done, you can check the C-Bus voltages - mainly check the "furthest away" devices. You can see Voltage on the Status tab after opening each device.

I also think the Voltage for every unit is also listed in one of the Right-most columns in the Units listing - but I can confirm that as I am not connected to a live network while I type this.

Also try removing one or 2 devices (but NOT relays or dimmers with Power Supplies built-in) - then connect the PAC and see if the Network stays up.

Report back the lowest voltage you find.

    Cheers, JC
