Pac Problem

Having Trouble Downloading To Pac Thought It Might Be Firmware Related And When I Checked The Firmware It Says Unknown Firmware Anyone Have Any Ideas?

 

I don't think its the filmware, unless there's a movie buff around

But the firmware issue is not one that i have seen before, but if you are trying to check it. How? are you getting some sort of connection from PICED?

i can use it as a pc interface and it shows up as being connected in piced but i cannot read anything off or download anything to it . when i look at it on toolkit it shows no firmware version

 

IS this the first PAC you have programmed? Or have you successfully connected & downloaded to a PAC before?

Try re-installing the USB driver?

Also, what version of PICED are you using, is it the most recent?

 

this is the first time at programing, have had the pac for 6 months i have tried heaps of times to download with no luck. i tried with the last 2 versions of piced and i have the latest at the moment, in that time i have reinstalled the usb drivers a dozen times wasnt sure if maybe the pac was faulty.

 

You can't transfer projects to the PAC if it is being used as a PC Interface.

When PICED connects to the PAC it will tell you the firmware version.
