I have a Din Rail PC Interface that want to show itself as a PC INterface (ie the older c-bus one style).

Any reason as to why this is the case

its not a new unit, one of the first CNI's that came out (had to wait for it to be released after paying for it).

It works fine and it I have just never paid any real attention to it. Only becasue of the burden issue I had that I was checking settings and noticed that the picture it shows for it is the old style PC interface and not a Din rail interface. The description is not for a din rail either.

I will have the firmware later.

Now I'm confused... I thought we were talking about a PC interface?

Ah.. are you saying that it's actaully a CNI but that Toolkit shows it as a PCI (of the wrong vintage)?

As well as the firmware version, can you also tell us what unit type toolkit is showing?

Sorry I got confused, the CNI shows up as a Din Rail PC Interface and thats OK.

Its the Din rail PCI that looks like a old style PC interface

    Toolkit show
Cat Number 5100PC and firmware is 3.11 (PC INterface), yet it is definately a DIN rail model.

OK, its showing as a 4CC4 style box and it should not, but it otherwise works OK.

Something to do with the unit type that this is reporting.

Don't worry about it, it should work fine, its just showing the wrong picture.
