    Hi again

I just realised that the "Paint Format" function in PICED is fairly "non-intuitive", as it operates completely differently from similar functions in M$ and other Windoze apps.

    In PICED :
To paint the format of one or more Components :
? Copy a component with the desired format
? Select the component(s) to be changed
? Click on the paint format item from the edit menu...

    In Word, Excel etc :
    - Select the text or graphic that has the formatting that you want to copy.
    - On the Standard toolbar, click Format Painter. The pointer changes to a paintbrush icon.
    - To apply formatting to more than one block of text or graphic, double-click Format Painter.
    - Click the text or graphic that you want to format.

The difference is that in PICED you have to CTRL+C (copy) the source object's formatting. In other apps you use the Format Painter itself to pick up the formatting from the source object.

I realise this is a small thing, but is there any chance of aligning it's behaviour with more common applications ?

    Cheers, John

This has been added to the list of things to do (#8121). It is actually not an insignificant change and we will need to consider it very carefully before changing the way this works.
