Need to have some way of making a set of buttons once and using those buttons on a number of pages, but at different spots on the pages, like pics.

Trouble with Templates is you can not move the buttons.
    Any ideas ??

Only way I can think of is to make a new type of page ? ie object page and put the buttons on there.

Then on pages were I want then do a copy pasted from the object page.

Not perfect but at least I know were the source buttons are and can change in one spot.

That make sense ? silly question

That is a good idea Dave.

I had been thinking of something along similar lines, but nothing has been done about it yet. It is in our system as #18565.

    Darren,
Have the add objects working ok, the main problem is if if i have a page that has had the objects added and I change the object page which buttons get deleted on page.
Think you going to need a new tag in the objects like "object group" so when we come to add objects we can tell which ones to delete first.
    ie
if I have a "bed1" objects page and it added to say "my room" next time its updated goto "my room" and delete all the objects with a "object group" = "bed1" then add the new ones in.

file this for your think tank.

maybe you come up with some thing better
