If you have units which are working, then they will be fine. This new fix only affects when you have a failed configuration data download. The next time you go to download a project to a C-Touch, update the firmware at that time.

I have been having problems with the

ONCE missing Cbus events... I thaught it was a cbus reliability issue.

This firmware has fix this problem. Were there other issues that this firmware fixes also.

There were no changes to logic in this release. The only changes related to the start-up of the firmware.

Note that you can miss a C-Bus message if, for example, the Group Address level goes on then off again very quickly in between two logic loops.

What sort of speed are we talking about here... Less that 100ms ??? I suppose it depends on how much logic (I assume SLEEPS dont effect this)

I have not been able to nail the problem yet... but events are 2 seconds plus so I dont think this is the issue.

The logic works fine EVERY TIME when running on a PC with PICED and Cgate. (ran for a week)

When down loaded to PAC works MOST of the time. It has some thing to do with the "ONCE statements" some times it misses the transition.

Since loading the new firmware it now works ALMOST all the time (Over the weekend I have noticed the problem is still there but seems to happen less) (the code had not changed. only the firmware).

I dont have much free time at the moment but when I do and work out the issue I will let you know.

I thaught it might be a CBUS comms issue and PAC missing the event. So I have moved the PAC and the PCI next to each other (the were not before) to see any differences with Logic running in PICED via PCI and the PAC.

Can you just check that you don't have too much logic in the PAC. It is possible that the logic is resetting occasionally. Have a look at the status LED and make sure that it doesn't stop flashing.

If this isn't the problem, can I get you to send your project archive to Technical Support with details of the problem so that we can look at it.
