Port Forwarding Wiser & C-Touch

    Hi Guys,

    I have a setup with both a Wiser (Option B) and a C-Touch in a network behind a Cisco DPQ3925 Gateway from Optus and have hit a snag with the Port Forwarding so i can upload programs to either from the office. I have setup all the correct port forwards for the Wiser, but I also need to add 8336 for the C-Touch. I have done this at other sites and it works fine but this Gateway doesn't appear to support Port Forwarding (Port Mapping?) on different internal ports than External ports.

    Is there any way around this or does the client need a new Gateway?

    I don't quite follow - you have *forwarded* the other ports, why do you need to *map* 8336? Can't you just forward it?

    The Router is already forwarding anything that comes in on port 8336 to the Wiser, so if i try to upload the C-Touch program from the office to the site using port 8336, it can only see the Wiser...

    Ah.. I'm pretty sure that when updating the CTouch like this it actually goes via the Wiser... I'm not personally familiar with this but maybe darren can jump in here...

    oh ok, What happens if you don't have a Wiser in the installation?

    I spoke to someone on the support line and they weren't sure.

    Worst case scenario is when i do need to update the C-Touch, i can log into the Router remotely and change the port forwarding address of 8336 to the C-Touch instead of the Wiser...
