Is there anyway to get HomeGate to open at a particular location on the screen (this might be a more generic MS windows question)?

I'd like it to position itself at the top left of the physical screen when it first opens. I've tried positioning it and then exiting in non operation mode, so it prompts to save before exiting, but this doesn't do the trick.

I can't see any positioning info under HomeGate in the registry.

    Thanks

In general, windows opens an app window at either a place determined by the program, or a place determine by windows.

If the place is determined by the program, then it can commonly be centred, top-left, or some specific place decided by the programmer (which as you can imagine is a bit dangerous).

If using HomeGate in OPERATION mode then HomeGate opens the window at the position, and with the size, where you last used it.

If not in operation mode, it still opens where you last placed it.

So, suggest you set the size you want and the positioning you want, close it, and after that it should re-open there. There are however some modes where this might not be the case.... it all depends on more precisely what you are trying to achieve.
