I have two 200mA supplies (L5508D1A & L5508RVF), so I should have 400mA, available on the bus, but when I check out the network, I'm drawing 190mA and it says I've only got 200mA.

Does this mean I've got a dead power supply or do they only turn on once the draw gets high enough?

Oh, the whole system (except for this power issue) is working well....thanks Newman......

Stating the obvious, are the all power connections on the module in place ?

When I first had DIN C-Bus I didnt connect the second power terminals to the first power terminals. That disabled the C-Bus power supply. Once I made both connections active the whole thing just worked.

The calculation in Toolkit regarding how much power is available on the network is just that... a calculation. It uses the catalogue numbers entered in the unit UI's to determine whether the unit it is talking to has, or doesn't have, an in-built 200mA power supply.

I suspect that one of the catalogue numbers for one of the units has a 'P' suffix, denoting it as passive, i.e. without in-built C-Bus Power Supply. If you correct this to reflect the actual units you have, it should calculate correctly.

The power supplies current-share across the network. So, if you've got multiple supplies then each supply takes an approximate equal share of the load.

Nice retrofit of a suitable "P" word for a poor catalog numbering decision :)
