As I'm running Homegate on a test system with a touchscreen and a 26 unit network I have to export the toolkit project to update group addresses in the Cbus2 homegate and Ctouch software. However I get the message below even when ensuring I save the project under a new name. It locks up Toolkit requiring an end program in windows. Anyone have any idea how I can export the project to CBUS2 software as I don?t want to work without group addresses. Please any help appreciated.

Project was imported from CBus2. Project name is FINCH02, should not cause any problems. A directory is created with only three files of 1KB ea, .tag .top & .trn before the software hangs.

Also, any idea how to get on the toolkit beta for the logic software? Really keen to get a headstart with it!

    Hi Jason,

Would you be able to send us the project file that you're trying to export? We can try it in the office and see whats going wrong.

    I've emailed you our address.

    Hi Jason,

While investigating the problem with the export function, we noticed that Lighting Application in the project you sent us is located at address 02.

It is not completely wrong to have Lighting Application at address 02, but we discourage people from using it. Future C-Bus network device compatibility cannot be assured if you use Application address numbers in range 01 to 15.

Of course I don't mean exporting function shouldn't be fixed because of that. It should tolerate any Application addresses project is using. I will send you the exported V2 project once the problem is resolved.

Thank you for reporting this issue and providing us with the project.

    Regards,
    George
