I am trying to upgrade an existing site from V2 software to Toolkit V1.1.5. Toolkit installs fine but when you open the toolkit software c-gate starts and then closes again. It also does this if you start c-gate manualy.
    Any Ideas????

    Hi Robbo,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

The most likely reason that CGate shuts down is a problem with the Java Installation on the machine..

We can confirm this by looking at the message CGate outputs in its 'console' window.. unfortunately the CGate Window shuts down when it closes and you dont get to see the messages.

However, if you start CGate from a command prompt, you get to the see the output.. to do this:

    1. Start a Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> CMD),
    2. Navigate to the Clipsal\CGate2 dir ("CD C:\Clipsal\CGate2")
    3. Type "java -jar cgate.jar"

Any error messages should now be visible and we'll be able to help you further when we have those.

    I agree with Duncan.
You must have Java console enabled on your P.C.
This can be done by launching Internet Explorer, clicking on Tools - Internet Options - Advanced then scroll down and select Java Console enabled.
You may need to restart your P.C. after doing this.
I had the same problem last week, works fine now.
