I have a question about the 5750WPL that no one has really been able to help me with.

Their are currently 2 5750WPL out side of my house. One is mounted to the shed and the other is mounted to a tree.

As a trial method in my lounge i have 2 seperate downlights - the shed sensor turns on one downlight and the tree sensor turns on another.

On the global tab of the tree sensor i have increased the Time Threshold to 784ms which has stopped it going on off on off and so fourth.

The sensor on the shed has its time set to 1008ms but still comes on every 5 minutes of so. Have been watching the application log and recording how many times it comes on.

THe sensor is set to night on the pot setting on the unit and both units are only configured to motion in darkness.

The question in what now because i only want these sensors to trigger the loads when some one drives in or walks pass the sensors.

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers
    Cameron

If the sensors are turning the lights on even when no-one walks past them then they are detecting a change in the thermal image in front of the sensor. This can be for a variety of reasons; wind, moving tree limbs, significant vibration, air conditioning vents, spiders, ducted exhaust fans, the draft from an AC Inverter, loose screws retaining the front cover, a cracked lens, "critters" inside the unit, cats, dogs, etc.

Get on a ladder and put your head right in front of the sensor, looking into the field of view, as the sensor sees it. Try to identify anything that may result in a changing thermal image that the sensor may see.
