Problems with General Input unit

    Hi,

    Have a general input unit which has been working fine for 4 years. It recently has stopped returning values. When i try to edit it via Toolkit it get's to about 1% and gives error 20044 and says "Could not get programming paramaters"

    Have tried powering on / off, checking power supply to unit etc and all looks fine ?

    Any ideas how i can fix ?

    Hi there,

    i had something similar with a version of Toolkit - can't remember which version. Try an updated version of toolkit.

    The only other reason I have found for the GIU to get stuck on uploading/downlaoding is the polarity of the AC 24V into the GIU. I know its AC and should not matter but it does.

    Also the newer versions of Toolkit sometimes take a while before the download/upload changes from 1% so wait a little while. Hope this helps, I know how frustrated I have been at times with GIU's.
