    In a project I am gonna use 4 professional 12x5Amp dimmers - L5112D5LP
However the Electrical designer demands 2 pole MCBs.
The on board MCBs are 1 pole or 2 pole?
Is it possible to change them to 2 pole on site?

The MCBs included in the L5112D5LP are 1-pole.

You can order the 12 x 5A Professional dimmer with an individual RCBO per-channel. The breaker current is 6A and the earth leakage current trip is 30mA.

    The catalogue number is L5112D5LPR12

This particular variant doesn't show up in the regular product data sheet as it is a new variant.

    Thank you Newman.

Is it posssible to replace on site the 1pole MCB's with 2 pole ones?

Of course it is *possible*, however you would need to rewire much of the chassis (not a simple job), and I suspect it would also void your warranty.

As Newman said, the L5112D5LPR12 has a combo RCD/MCB per channel (so the wiring is the same as for a 2 pole MCB per channel). If you really insist on a 2 pole MCB per channel instead of an MCB/RCD per channel, you could replace the RCD/MCBs on this model without modifying the wiring.

You could also order it as a special with the dual pole MCBs you want, but this would take longer.
