I have 1 C-Bus cat5 incoming from a dimmer module with a power supply into a large junction box, then from there it will go to 14 Clipsal switches.
A star configuration as shown on page 37 (but the top neo is a dimmer but should not matter for C-bus
    http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/__data/page/2857/14084_C-Bus_Basics_Training_Manual_Vol_1.pdf

Instead of having a ball of wire on a bootlace connector I want to use a communication punch down block.

Not sure if they are used over the pond but in the USA most all phone systems use as the primary means of termination.
They are reliable & years of proven termination.

    Thanks

Should be no problem at all using your 66 Block, however I do note in that Wikipedia article that they mention that the 66 is being superseeded by the 110?

    Punch Down Block

The 110 has 50 connection points not 25.

I found a smaller one that has 15 points and will fit my application.

If you have a thing that lets you connect the wires together then use it.

The only thing you need to watch is electrical isolation. Don't use a punch down block in the same cabinet as live mains power. Keep isolation, keep segregation. Put a cover over it.
