    Hi,

I've a customer who wants his outside lights to turn on with a 4 second ramp when activated by the external sensors then turn off after 3 minutes.

What's the easiest way to do this?

    Thanks
    Mike

On the FUNCTIONS tab for Movement in Darkness change Short Press from ON to Ramp Recall 1. On the BLOCKS tab, on the group line set recall 1 to 100% and the timer value as required. If you also want it to ramp off, change expiry from OFF to Ramp Off.

It will complain about non-standard functions, but you can ignore that.

After a week he will get you to disable the ramp on as walking into the dark area and having to wait 4 seconds for light becomes a bit annoying :)

Not to mention that he will also need dimmers for all his outside lights and find suitable dimmable lamps for them forevermore.....
