My electrical contractor and i installed the program database to the network last night and afterwards it looks like a relay failure. The buttons on the relay don't work anymore.
The toolkit found all units on the network and it appeared to be talking properly.
Would the programming (if set incorrectly) render the buttons on a relay inoperable or if this happens does it mean that the relay has failed?
    thanks again

It is possible to disable the buttons on the relay itself (these buttons are called "Local Toggle" keys) by unchecking the "Enable Local Toggle" checkbox on the "Global" tab.

Does the relay respond to commands on the network?

Are the "C-Bus" and "Unit" LEDs on the relay unit on?

The bottom LED is the "C-Bus" LED.

If this is off it means you will not have any comms to the unit on C-Bus.

This could be for any of the following reasons :

    - your network is over or under burdened
    - you have no C-Bus clock enabled
    - the network voltage is low
    - the network is not connected at all

I suggest you call tech support and they will walk you through getting it up and running again.

    relay

    thanks Nick
It was 2 in the morning, so we probably had something minor.
The local keys were working fine before the upload of the program, then nothing.

Could you possibly have enabled or disabled a software burden in the changes you uploaded?

It could also be that no clocks were left enabled. If there's an output unit on the network then simply entering Learn Mode and exiting again will get you up and running if that's what happened.
