    hi all.

ive be asked to look at a job which will combine cbus and hardwired.(different lighting system)
i can convert most of the house to cbus no problem.
but it was done in a way that the lights can be switched through normal 230v switches and a system.

so if i have to convert to cbus.
would it be better to use bell push type switches to send signal to relay input to switch group.or is there a 240v relay input that can do this.

or do i use wired cbus switches on some and wireless on the others..

    for example.
kitchen has 3 lighting groups, all wired back to board seperately
2 cbus switches and a 240v mains switch.

    thanks

There is a relay that can be used to couple into standard switches, part number P84T93WV7.

Be aware it is voltage free, so make sure your 240v switch doesn't have 240v on it though.

If using a standard rocker switch your options are limited, but if you can use a press and release button then you can do things like like press etc that can be done with normal c-bus switches.
