Hi Gents, trying to set up a commissioning system for three engineers to use on site. Will be using a central PC running just C-Gate and the engineers will all connect to that machine over the normal site network. All works and the engineers PC's all connect to the central tag file no problem, however the loading of network database files takes forever, the spec of the central PC in not high (Atom CPU330 at 1.6GHz and 1.99GB RAM), but I have tried a lower spec machine which loads the datafiles file a lot quicker. I have transfered a 12Meg file just to check network speed, and its fine(about 2 secs). It just looks like C-Gate is runnng slow. I have also set the min memory to 32 and the Maximum to 256 of the C-Gate Memory. But still very slow. Any sugestions as to why the loading of networks from the database takes so long (about 17second for a network leg of 65 devices). Any help will be appreciated.
