    Hi Guys,

I have a customer that has a CNI and CTC on their ethernet, if I do all the port fowarding on their router will I be able to upload a PICED file to their touch screen ? Is there anything I need to be aware of ?

Any other suggestions for remote access to both toolkit and the CTC ?

    Regards

Just be careful about opening up ports. If their router supports using a VPN, definately use that method, as opening up ports without any sort of firewall or user authentication can be very dangerous in this day and age.

It will let you in, but it will also allow any bored teenager or russian hacker access as well.

The best way to enable remote updates to a colour C-Touch is to use a Wiser as the router. There are various security features already in place if you do it this way.
