Hi, I'm having some trouble setting up a scene trigger.
I have an auxiliary input device that i want to switch off multi lighting groups. I have a scene set up with a trigger group called "Security" with action selector "All OFF". I tried setting the key 1 on the aux to trigger 1 and have it trigger security/All OFF. I have then set up virtual key 5 with scene 1. When i activate the aux relay nothing happens. I have tried setting aux key 1 to <scene>, according to the application log the scene is getting triggered but still nothing is happening.
I don't know if i'm missing something obvious but if someone could explain how it should be set up, that would be awesome.
    Thanks

You have 2 issues here. Firstly you can't trigger a scene stored in a virtual key locally (don't ask me why, it has to be assigned to a button), and secondly you can't trigger a local scene using it's trigger group/action selector from the unit where the scene is stored.

You either need to move the scene to key 1 or store it in another unit.

Ok, so if I assign the scene to key1 on the input device then that should work? I had tried that but for some reason the groups weren't turning off.

A scene just sets all its groups to the value specified. There is no such thing as turning a scene off (well, unless you have a Touch Screen or Wireless Switch anyway). You will need to create a second scene with all same same groups but with levels of zero and trigger it. The only way to do that in the Aux input unit is with 2 switches. If you had another unit you could store the scenes in, then you could set the On scene action selector to 255(ON) and the OFF scene action selector to 0(OFF), then on you aux input unit select the trigger application and set the switch to bell press. Then when the input is off the OFF scene will be set, and when the input is ON, the ON scene will be set.

I managed to find the issue. I assigned a scene to key1 of the aux, but I was turning the channels ON via the relay so the scene wasn't doing anything. But when I used the switches everything worked as it should.
    Thanks for the help Ashley.
