hi i have a 5000ct system in my house and there was a 2 channel relay (5102rvf) operating the garden and garage lights. This relay went with a bang so an electrician replaced it but now the relay isnt linked with my screen. The red led light is on the relay which i believe this means i have mains power and power from the cbus but does this relay need to be programmed into the screen.

    Hello pohmyjosh.
Yes, this relay will need to be programmed. What part of Queensland are you in?

Have you used 'C-Bus Toolkit' before?
You can use the application log when connected to the network to locate the group addresses associated with the buttons on the touch screen (the original smaller black and white unit by the part number), then program them into the relay. This way you don't have to touch any programming in the touch screen.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Pohmyjosh
If your electrician copied the programming (group address) from the old unit to the new it would show up on your screen. It sounds like he didn't, so you can't see it.
Are the lights operated from the relay working?
Maybe you want to get him back.
AS for programming it's feasible depending on how tech savvy you are. You alos need to connect you computer to the c-bus network, I think the CT has a port if not you need a PC interface.
