    Hi,

Sorry if there is a more appropriate place to make requests for changes to the software, but I have just migrated to Toolkit v1.1.3 and have found one aspect to be most annoying. Namely the creating of new addresses can only be done by scrolling through the decimal group addresses to fin the one I am seeking. The numerical keys can be used to jump around however with 255 addresses this is still tedious, with v2 it was not so much of a problem when using hex addresses as you could jump 16 addresses at a time however it is impossible to quick jump to addresses between 100 and 199. Would it be possible to simply enter the address in the box, obviously if the address was already used a worning would have to popup, however without such a function large projects will be excruciating.

Thanks for hearing out my rant.

Very valid request, thanks for taking the time to provide it. You'll see it in a build soon.

    CIS Defect ID : 4128.

    Save and close...

While we are on the topic of V3 suggestions...
How's about a check box on the unit GUI's
    to "save and close"
could be a real time saver instead of saving then waiting then closing

and maybe even a "Veiw Feild"
do we always need to view tags, serials, exists in network, etc etc

just be able to fine tune the relevant info for the job @ hand?

    no its not
you currently have to save the update
then once finished and the GUI reappears you then need to close it....

one box, both features makes much more sense

    Errr.. I'm a little perplexed.. :)

The OK button in Toolkit DOES save the Unit to the selected locations and then close.

The APPLY button saves the unit to the selected locations but does NOT close the GUI afer..

    OK Great :)

Just to confirm... you dont feel a change is required in the operation of these 3 buttons (OK, Cancel, Apply)?

    No change needed
the OK, Cancel, Apply(&save) is good

maybe a suggestion that if you click on cancel a pop up box appears

    "ARE YOU SURE?"
    "YES / NO"

this could save some people alot of grief

    this would be purrrfect

That sounds like a good idea, especially for those big mutha's like the General Input Unit and 12 Channel PRO Range Dimmer that take a bit of time to actuall open..

Thanks for the suggestion, will add it, perhaps with the ability to turn it off.

Having a "preference" option to enable or disable those annoying "are you sure" dialogs would be just great...
