I have purchased a 30RJ45SMA5SH,PK socket which will provide a future c-bus point possibly for remote amp. My question is what is the wiring for this. On the back it has colour code for 568a and 568b but I have not seen any diagrams in the c-bus instructions for the socket, only the plug, and I am unsure how the RJ45 pins 1 to 8 in a row on the plug, map to the 1-4 top and 1-4 bottom in the socket.

Does anyone know of a link to a picture, or is it just 568a or b?

Use 568A and all will be good.

    Thank you Mr Mark,
I just found the statement 'in accordance with the 568A wiring standard' on page A16 of the Basic Training Manual.
