    Hello all,

does anyone have any experience with labelling normal saturn switches.....for example putting some sort of transfer behind the glass to label it or physically etching characters into the glass?????? any thoughts advice would be appreciated......I have a client who seems to find it hard to remember what buttons on 2 and 4 gang saturns do! :)

    Thanks

You can purchase a range of replacement caps for the top of the Ulti Saturn buttons. Instead of the illuminated dash you get a silver button with black text saying "lounge", "bathroom" etc. There are 66 individual caps in a pack. Cat# 5080LC-8. Would this help?

Reverse Engraving on the back of the Saturn glass also works fine (looks good and leaves the LED visable).

I was wondering if someone could tell me where I can get these from as I am in the UK and are not listed on any UK site that I know off. (I don?t mind buying from outside the UK)

    Adrian,

Part number for these items is 5080LC-8.
The kit comes with around 50/60 buttons from memory...

Be aware though when using these you do lose the horizontal LED 'window'
as this is where the text sits.
LED indication is still visible around the rim.

Google only finds 1 hit of a PDF news bulletin from Malaysia.

5080LC-8 Product description from the Aussie Clipsal website (not CIS) :

Would be very nice to know exactly WHAT the labels say (a list), so we could determine if they included what was required :D

That cbus-shop.com is a pretty crappy website (expensive too). I am (kind-of) thinking of setting up a Australian "cbus-shop" online... apart from much better prices, it could also be fully up-to-date and include all the products (the 5080LC-8 have been available for ages - at LEAST since January 2005)

I might be able to give up my day job

Oh - I just thought of a much better way of labelling the buttons on an Ulti Saturn...

    Hey John L,

reverse engraving is what I thought of originally (although I do like the look of the caps), I think engraving will look more stylish...did you take the saturn along to a professional engraver????

    cheers

    Might be able to help

    Adrian,

I work for Schneider in the UK and am the local C-Bus sales guy for Derby. We have looked into stocking this item recently. If you are interested, call 0870 6088608 and ask for Graham Walton. They will put you through to me and we can chat about how to move forward with it.

    Thanks
