    Dear All,

I set a schedule for Touchscreen/ Schedule Plus to turn on some relay channels fo 12 chanels relay. The schedule run ok.

After I use local toggle to turn on/off 1 channel of Relay, the schedule can not turn on relay channel anymore.

What can I do to solve this problem.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,

When you press a local override button on an output unit it goes in to Local Override Mode (Unit LED flashes). In this mode it may not respond to C-Bus commands depending on the state of the Enable C-Bus Priority tickbox on the Global tab of the Toolkit UI.

    Solutions:
    1. Long press a local override button on the Relay unit. This will exit local override mode and return channels to C-Bus control. You should see the Unit led stop flashing when you do this.

    2. Enable C-Bus Priority in toolkit. This doesn't really make sense unless you are regularly pushing the Local Override buttons to control channels - not sure why you'd do that...

    Mark.

By default, units ship with the C-Bus Priority feature enabled. With this option set, whenever a unit receives a C-Bus command the channel goes to the C-Bus level and cancels the local toggle state for that channel.

    C-Bus Priority already Enable

    Dear Mr.Mark and Mr.Newman,

The C-Bus priority is Enable as default. But Schedule Plus or Piced still can not turn on relay chanel at preset time if someone local toggle control the relay.

Would you please double check with your hardware if you got on hand.

    Thank you very much!

If C-Bus priority is enabled then I suspect what has happened is that the uncooperative channels were ON when the local toggle was used to turn them OFF. This in fact would mean that the network state was ON before and after the local toggle event, since local toggle buttons do not cause network messages to change the state, but instead only change the state locally - in the unit.

If you are testing the effect, make sure that the schedule you are using turns the channel OFF before turning it ON.

Normally, scheduled events would cycle between ON and OFF, and local toggle buttons pushed only on rare occasions, so this should not be a problem. If however, the schedule is only changing levels and the channels are always ON, the local toggle will not cancel.

If you allow local toggle regularly, you should ensure that the schedule will at some time turn OFF the channel before turning it back on again.
