A time-limited beta preview of Schedule Plus 5.0 is now available for download from the CIS Downloads Page.

Direct link to the Beta page: http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/technical/downloads/beta_software

It is not advised to deploy the Beta to production sites. Please use the stable release of Schedule Plus 4.12.1 instead.

All feedback on the Beta is welcomed in this thread!

The new features in this sound brilliant and just what we have been needing on many sites. I will put it through its paces and see what I think.

    Thanks Guys!

    Edit:

Just a few crashes I think worth mentioning, first is that I can't seem to go into Operation Mode, just crashes each time it is attempted.

I also found that it would crash by clicking around in the Database areas with no databases set up. Also will keep throwing up can't connect to database errors when editing project details, opening and saving. Just wondering without playing too much if there is a way to turn the database stuff off till needed? Just haven't found a way yet?

Can email bug reports if wished.

That aside it looks like they are going to be some great features that will be very handy and bring SP up a few notches...

Hey, So I have found that if I have the Web server enabled it will error when trying to go into Op Mode, if you have it off there are no problems.

It would be handy in future to provide the actual date the software expires rather than just saying " it's time limited".

I installed it last night to try it out, thinking it will work for a short time. Upon first running it said that it had already expired. Great. Mumble, groan. :(

    Bump

Also waiting for this, if it was in Beta that long ago where is it?

Are they working on a new automation system? Who knows!
