We have an entry in our log which says C Gate : RX "# lighting sync update. This command turns off a group address for no reason. It happens randomly and effects the same 2 group addresses on different networks and different applications.

Below is a section of the log showing the command.

The SyncUpdate message occurs when C-Gate finds that a group address on a network is not at the level that it thought it was, and then sends the correct level to Schedule Plus.

These messages are not normally seen, and can be an indication that your network has some sort of communication problems.

To know exactly what is causing this, you will need a C-Gate event level 9 log for the period leading up to this message. See C:\Clipsal\SchedulePlus\Manuals\Advanced Fault Diagnosis.pdf for details of how to do this.
