I am using Toolkit Version 1.8.2 and Schedule Plus Version 3.9.0.

I hav assigned groups of lights to their appropriate motion sensors and hav created c-bus buttons and assigned them to the appropriate groups in schedule plus and also assigned different colors for status indication to kno if the lights are on or off.

Some c-bus buttons display the right status when the sensors turn the lights on/off but some dont. The sensors are working fine, they are switching on the right circuits, I can switch the lights on/off using the schedule plus c-bus buttons manually and it shows me the right color indication for on/off.

    What could be the problem?

When the sensors switch the lights on and off, do you see the messages in the Schedule Plus log ?

No I do not see the message from the sensors in the Schedule Plus log...the message is only seen when I switch the lights on/off from the cbus button on Schedule Plus.

Sorry for the late reply...didnt get time to visit the site and check the logs till today.

If you don't see the messages in the Schedule Plus log, then the problem is not with Schedule Plus. It can only respond to messages that it receives.

Do you have multiple networks, and if so, how are they arranged, and where are Schedule Plus and the sensors located?

The project is a 5 storey bldg which comprises of levels 0 to 6
each level comprises of one n/w which is why we hav 6 n/w hav 6 networks in the project which r connected to six network bridges. The A side of each network bridge is connected to the remote network and the B side is looped to the next network bridge. This means that the A side on each n/w bridge is connected to the remote n/w and the B side is looped together which is then connected to a CNI the CNI is connected to a PC via a 3 com switch.

The Schedule Plus is running on a PC which is connected to the CNI which in turn is connected to the n/w bridges via loop on the B side.

The sensors r located in the remote n/w which is on the A side of the bridge.

0 to 6 will give you 7 levels won't it?

Now you are saying there are 6 networks/levels?

Are you saying they are "daisy chained"?

This sounds like you are describing a "backbone" network. Which is it?

I am sorry, but I have no idea what you are describing. Maybe a diagram would help.

Have you got connect application turn on to send commands from the remote network side (where the sensors are connected) to the backbone side (where Schedule plus is connected)?
If you don't have this on Schedule Plus will not see the commands because they are not coming into the backbone network.

Toolkit 1.8.2 had alot of small issues hence why 1.8.3 came out shortly after which i know was a very stable version as is 1.9.3
