    Hi All,

I am a long time user and of C-Bus products and for the most part I have been able to sort out most of my problems; But I must say this one has got me spinning in circles.

SQL database logging was easily setup in V5.0.0.136 and successfully logging required data in the database (after c-bus connection). But it seems that in V5.0.3.136; database logging does not happen. Although the database is connected and configured correctly (even resetted and initialized) in Options/Database Options; And I can verify that the database can be written to by taking snapshots and recording these events in the database; but No logging is done whatsoever. Log settings are setup View/Event log/Options (write events to database) with all log to database setup checked (in the same manner as V5.0.0.136 although the layout is changed); But nothing is written.

Please advise, on what am I missing.

    Thanks

    Hi All,

After too many hours/days testing, I have sorted it out. For all those who will come across this annomilly. You need to open project file in a older version (i used V5.0.0); the goto View/Logs/Database Tab and check the box. Even though I did set this in my newer version V5.0.0.136, it seems in reworking this log interface, in this newer version has resulted in not actually enabling the database log feature. I am very appreciative that GS did not rework the project files in newer Program versions so that I can go back and open the project to get it going.
