    Hi all,

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed previously or is obvious but I am struggling with how i might make this work.

Scenario I have is that i have a Single CBUS Network that covers my house, garden and outbuildings.

Outbuildings have a Cytech version of minder Pro and the house has another one, both alarm panels have a CBUS SIM in them so they can manipulate CBUS groups in response to alarm conditions.

CBUS Sims are set to seperate Group Addresses

Is it possible to use the Wiser security widget to control two different alarm panels?

If so how do i set it up?

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "CBUS Sims are set to seperate Group Addresses". My understanding is that having 2 different panels on the same C-Bus network is not going to work.

Can I use a network bridge and filter the applications across it to effectively hide the second security application such that wiser only sees the house alarm?

That would allow me to control the cbus from both alarms but also hide the bits of the network that would have an issue with each other.

    Regards

    Paul

Is the Minder alarm certified in your country as an alarm panel ?

    tobex,

I am using the Comfort Home Controller from Cytech and not Minder.

Comfort conforms to the relevant British standards when used in an EN03 enclosure (which these are) and can be remotely monitored.

That is probably the best way to do it. The bridge can be set to pass one, two or all applications.

The C-Bus Security Application only supports one security panel on a network.
