I am running CGate on a relatively old PC (version 1.8.3 of toollkit). I am connecting to a CBUS network via the PAC and, first time round it all worked fine. Add New Hardware Wizard detected the COM port as COM3, installed the driver and I was able to connect.

One reboot later it reinstalled on COM4 and since then I have been unable to connect. I should point out that COM1 and COM2 are disabled in the BIOS as I ran out of interrupts..

    Any one any ideas?

    Thanks

The title of your post was "serial baud setting failed". You haven't explained the significance of the baud rate. Is this related to the problem ?

All sorted - a restart of the PAC cured whatever the problem was. I think something had gone awry with the USB port.

    Thanks
