ServerX and CGate Communication

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to C-Bus, so apologies for any stupid questions.

Basically, I've got a C-Bus install and I want to use ServerX to control it. At the moment, I'm just trying the simple jsp page that is part of ServerX to get it to control groups (I'll be using the API at a later stage, provided I can work out how to get ServerX talking to my network). However I haven't had any luck.

The good news:
-I've installed the Toolkit, CGate, and ServerX. As far as I can tell, they are all working fine (no errors from ServerX saying it can't connect to CGate).
-I've got the project and its network in Toolkit, I can connect to it, view modules, and control groups that way. It all works fine.
-Using telnet, I can access CGate and issue commands to list the project, and it's network. I can also control groups from the comand line, as well as list the network tree.

Here's the problem:
-ServerX can't control the groups, it can't even see the network.
-When I try CGate commands using the webpage, not all of them work:
--project list works fine, and it shows the right project.
--project use works fine, and it can select the project.
--project start also works.
--net list DOES NOT work, despite the project being known by CGate. This is strange, as this command works in the telnet session, but not in the webpage.
--net list_all works however
--tree does not work, however like net list, this does work in a telnet session.


So basically, how come my commands will work in the telnet session, but not in the web page?

I've tried connecting/reconnecting with the Toolkit, doing a scan, sync, rediscover etc, but nothing seems to help. I can't browse the network in ServerX either.

So, is there something that needs to be set up in ServerX before it works properly? I've been trying to read the manuals, but can't seem to find anything.

I'd really like to get it working, so any help is greatly appreciated!
