    Hi there,

I have found that when changing the password for the root admin in ServerX, that it does not seem to be stored properly.
    In detail:
    - I log in via the default login, go to System Admin to change the root paasword, and click Modify.
    - The system accepts this o.k. and if I leave ServerX running, the login works with that new password.
    - however, if I end the ServerX session, then re-start it after a while, the login has returned to the default values.

Can anyone confirm this, am I missing something, or is it a known issue?

    Thanks

The forum is not an offcial support channel. If you need a Clipsal reply you need to contact Tech Support.

    Tech Support

    Hi Richo,

Could you direct me to a specific person at Tech Support? I have still no reply to date, which is why I prefer to use this forum. Or am I a bit impatient?

I have sent myself a note to follow up on Monday morning. The reason I jumped straight in and suggested contacting Tech Support is because the team involved with developing Server X is based in our Malaysian office and there rarely come on the forum.

We have confirmed that there is a defect in ServerX, as you have described.

We hope to have a fix on the web site for download sometime very soon - a few days we hope.
