    Hi all,

I have a few blinds that have external triggering mechanisms in the form of open, close, stop contacts, however, these are momentary contact triggers. Is there a way to configure the Shutter control relay to manage this approach or am I best with an ELV relay and a bit of logic?

Note, this is all voltage free as the blinds are independently powered.

    Thanks
    Glen

There is no way to configure a shutter relay to do this. The ELV relay and logic is the way to go.

ELV Relay and Logic to Control Blinds

    Hi,
Can we please get some hints on how to achieve this configuration for controlling blinds. The issue I will also face is that the blind motor presents inputs for up, down and stop which I can't do with the shutter relay.

    regs,
    Paul

You need to use 3 channels of a Cbus relay unit (the L5108RELVP is the best choice, but any Cbus relay will work. Just don't mix this with 240V circuits). Then you just pulse the appropriate relay for 1 second using a logic device (like a touch screen, pac or wiser) in response to a keypad button press or however you want to trigger it.
