    Hi

OK so shutters operate based on the following toggle triggers

    Toggle 98%
    Close/Stop 1%
    etc

If when we press a toggle we output the same preset every time how does the shutter know what to do ?

    The Group state hasn't changed

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

When you issue a preset command it is always sent out on to the bus even if it is the same as the current value. The shutter relay (and everything else) receives this command and processes it internally. If you run the diagnostic utility you can see these messages in action.

Because of this, if you have multiple blind controllers with the same Group Address, they will always go the same way, but if you have multiple blind controllers with multiple group addresses and are trying to fire a 98% command to all of them, there is a chance that they will eventually get out of sync.

Actually, you can guarantee they will get out of sync :)
