Hi just wondering if this dimmer could possibly be utilized in australia.

This is the 110v model and I understand the supply for the actual unit
Would have to be 110v for the unit and power supply but was unsure about the dimming supply if it was capable of dimming 240v?
Any help and advice would be appreciated.

I suspect the reason you'd want to go to the trouble of trying to use this dimmer in Australia would be to get 8 x 2A into a single dimmer, right?

The 110V verrsion of the dimmer can only be supplied by 110-120V and the dimmer channels can only be connected to 110-120V loads. If you try to connect 240V to either of the supply connections of the unit you will damage the unit.

The SLC5508TD2A cannot be legally used in Australia anyway as it does not comply with Australian regulations for some aspects of it's performance, and this is a contributing factor as to why it has higher current ratings than the Australian-spec units.
