    "From ApplicationIDNumbers.pdf

    3.9 Trigger Control Application

..............On,Off and ramp to Level ....... are all meaningless in the Trigger Control Application

    3.10 Enable Control

..............On,Off and ramp to Level ....... are all meaningless in the Enable Control Application"

If this is true then how are these offered in PICED When editing Logic

    Right click
    Select Cbus
    Select Get Cbus State
    or
    Select Set Cbus State
    Left Click
    Select Application

    Select Trigger Control
    or
    Enable Control

    Select Level On or Off

    Or am I confused

IF you read the protocol documentation carefully you will see that the idea of group and level (in lighting) map onto corresponding similar entities in those two applications.

The ability to overlay a message in one application onto a message in another means that you can fake it. Piced is allowing you to fake it.

(Think "When Harry Met Sally" - real or not, who cares if the outcome seems to be the same.)

So is it fair to assume that if I have used ON and Off in either Trigger or Enable, it could cause me problems with the Sync between Homegate/ C-gate and C-Touch?

I ask because the ON OFF approach appears to work in C-touch (internally) _ but possibly not when it tries to cross onto C-Gate!

Any Programming in Comfort (Homeminder) will also cause the problem as well.
    Thanks for the response
    Mike

Note to self - Must Memorise protocol documentation!
