    Hi friends,
We want to control our parking area lights into two groups, Even rows and Odd rows.
all the lighting circuits are connected through relays, 8 sets of 8Ch and 4Ch, for overall controlling we gave area address for these relays.
    we made six scenes as Even_on, Even_off, Odd_on and Odd_off , Master_On and Master_off,
When we use 6 C-bus buttons for each scenes in touch screen the status indicators for the buttons are behaving abnormally!!...both Odd_on and Even_on indicators are getting off when we pressed either Odd_off or Even_off.
When we press Even_on its forcing Odd_on to light up.
    its getting confused...please help...

The only way this can be diagnosed is for you to send your project archive to CIS Technical Support, along with details of how to observe the problem.

I may not get what you're trying to do but...

Wouldn't it be simpler to have two groups: garage_even & garage_odd. On the relays, assign the respective group addressess to all relevent relay channels. Then switching group garage_even or garage_odd would switch all associated relay channels on/off. Two scenes could then be created as master_on master_off. Two groups. Two scenes, each with only two groups to worry about.

In the touch, status display would be through the group level for even/odd off/on. The scenes wouldn't even need to display status - just be push buttons, as lighting status would be plainly indicated by the even/odd buttons.

To manage inrush, use staggered turn on threshold for the relay channels, and ramp the even/odd groups on.

You wouldn't be able to switch individual relay channels, but it would be a pretty simple way of mass switching...

    thanks for replies...

In one of the pages of PICED, i have 4 individual buttons (assigned with scenes) and a Master Button (switches all the scenes together).

When i pressed one of the Buttons the master button status shows ON...

Its the Group Address at location 1 of the master scene making this happen.

How can we solve this? does this make scene cascading?

    regards,

    Rakesh

There is still not enough information to be able to answer your question. It would be quickest to provide the actual project (you can remove details which are not relevant if you wish) so that it can be tested.
