My RS232 PC interface has been fried by a storm the other day. It was connecting my Schedule Plus computer to the C-BUS network.

Are there any limitations or issues if I use an old C-Bus telephone interface as RS232 interface instead? I can get one from a friend for a case of beer.

    Thanks.

CBTI can be used as an RS232 interface, you will need a 12v power supply
Should not cause any issue, just remember that It will be old as Clipsal have not sold these for years.
