    Hi
I have a GIM that has been lying around for a few years and finally fired it up. I was trying to measure temp from an LM35. Didn't go so well so I thought let's start at the basics. I connected a 9V battery to the GIM and set the port to 0-10V. Is this a reasonable test method?

If I tell toolkit to give me the live/raw value, what should it be?

    Thanks
    msniper.

It will tell you that the unit is working. Set up broadcasting on the measurement application and look for the messages in the Toolkit Application log. You should see messages saying 8.something volts.

You may need to use a library curve to take into account the thermal coefficients of your temperature probe.
