I have just installed 2 Single Zone Thermostats (without internal relays) into my home.

I want to use some logic on my screen to use the information in the thermostat (e.g. room temperature, set temperature, setback temparature etc.) - i.e. basically to use the info on the unit on my screen.

Please could someone let me know how to do it ??? - i can write logic for lighting etc. but i can't find in any manuals how to get the info off the thermostats and into the programme.

    Many thanks in advance :)

You need to use in-built system IO variables.

Use the thermostat template (C:\Clipsal\PICED\Templates\Pages\Colour\thermostat.ctp) to get a feel for what the different variables do, and to check that it is all working.

Then you can read the variables in logic and do whatever you want with them.
