The thermostat dialog in Toolkit doesn't seem to know about the new SELV relay. It doesn't appear as a list of available relays in the Heating, Cooling or Damper Groups dialog, and when you assign a zone to an SELV channel it still shows the yellow warning icon.

It does actually work fine though, it's just the dialog that is misleading.

Well spotted. Now added to the defect tracking system as #18251.

... i thought it was just me...

So correct me if i am wrong. The ELV relay module does not come up in the "external relays in the c-bus database" window, but if set to application hvac1 and the correct groups assigned, the relays function as expected?

I have been trying to stuff around configuring toolkit before i purchased the ELV module and couldn't get it to work, and was about to shell out some serious hard earned tomorrow on the 12ch relay module thinking it may be incompatible.

Can someone please confirm if this is the case as the missus wants to put me to work over the x-mas break.

    phew... just in time.

Yes, it works perfectly as you describe. Just set the SELV relay to the HVAC1 application (or whatever you have set the thermostat too), set the channels to the appropriate dampers or plant control groups and away you go. Just ignore the yellow warnings in the thermostat dialog.

Yes, set the application in the SELV relay.

The fact that the SELV relay is not found in the thermostat setup is an oversight. (That whole "i'm setting up this unit... can I link to unit X" is a nice convenience - has to be updated for new units being added).
