I want to setup a key input to toggle between two values X & Y

a short press to set it to what ever it is not currently (i.e. if it is X now then a press sets it to Y and if it is Y it sets it to X).

Can this be done without a logic engine?

I think I can do it with a short press and long press (idle, recall 1, idle recall 2) but would prefer not to slow the action down with a long press.

I think we have all tried to do this at some time in the past but I just can't see how it's possible with the existing functions. I always thought that the toggle option should have been a check box that toggles between any selected function and off. I generally just put up with the short and long press options, but if you really want a short press I think you are stuck with the logic solution.
