Toolkit 1.11.9 Issue with 2 Channel Relays

    Hi,
    With Toolkit 1.11.9 the 2 channel relay shows up as a Serial Number mismatch on the Network view (it doesn't have a serial number).

    Deleting the unit in the DB and reloading it from the network doesn't solve the problem.

    Hi Mark,

    We know about this issue but it cannot be fixed reliably. In case with C-Bus mask 1 units like 2-channel relay, we can only assume that if unit type and address of the unit in the database are the same as on the network then we have a match. This assumption will be most likely correct if we have only one 2-channel relay, however if there are 2 or more 2-channel relay units on the network, matching them with the database records suddenly turns into a challenge, if you take into consideration unravel moving units without serials to random addresses.

    Perhaps we can change the text of the error message to something less confusing, but without S/N we can't claim a reliable match. So for now please ignore Toolkit reporting S/N mismatch for units that don't have them.
